Guidelines for Authors
Dear author,
We welcome your material and wish you to add to the construction of this journal. For organizational purposes, we present the following instructions for submitting your article:
Ineditism

The articles submitted must be original, unpublished, and must not be under evaluation in other periodicals.

Once published in the International Journal of Victimology and Restorative Justice, the articles can only be republished, after prior consultation with the magazine's Editorial Team.
Titration of authors

The articles may have up to three co-authors, requiring, above all, a doctorate degree. Exceptionally, texts from authors with a master's degree or who are studying for a master's or doctor's degree may be accepted.
Submission of articles
The submission of the works should be carried out exclusively on the electronic site of the Journal, in the link SUBMISSION SUBMISSION SUBMISSION after the registration of the respective author and completion of the mandatory form.
Formatting of work

The works must be presented in word, docx (or ODT) and contain from 15 to 20 pages, with a tolerance of two for more or two for less.

The works must use Times New Roman font, body 12. Paragraphs should have 1,5 between the lines; the top and bottom margins 2,0 cm and the sides 3,0 cm. Page size formatting must be A4. Paragraphs should be justified and no displacements or spacing should be used before or after each topic.

The title of the paper, the abstract (up to 200 words) and five key words should be indicated in the article language and in English.

Articles must have the following elements in Portuguese and English: title/title; abstract/abstract; keywords/keywords; summary (only in Portuguese or in the original language of the article.

Articles should contain specific introductory items, final considerations (conclusions) and references.

The International Journal of Victimology and Restorative Justice will not be responsible for carrying out any supplement in the works, such as inserting topic, phrases, abstract or keywords, which are the exclusive competence of the author.

The title of the article should not be excessively long and should clearly present the theme and the delimitation of its object.

The qualification/affiliation of the author(s) must follow the following criterion: start with the academic qualification (from the last to the first); if you exercise the magisterium, enter the relevant data immediately after the qualification; then complete the additional information (associations or other institutions of which you are a member and their respective state of the federation and the city); end with the function or profession exercised (other than in the academic area). The author should remove from the manuscript all information that could identify his authorship, in order to ensure the anonymity of the document.

The author should inform in the body of the text (it is suggested in the presentation) any funding from research agency or benefits received from commercial sources (e.g. if the article is the fruit of contracted opinion), and when proceeding with the submission automatically declare no conflict of interest that jeopardize the scientificity of the work presented.

References should follow the standard of NBR 6023/2018 (of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT). Complete bibliographical references should be included only in the REFERENCES list at the end of the text. Example: AMARO, Sarita. Interviewing children who have been victims of violence : subsidies to specialized listening and special testimony. 1. ed. Porto Alegre: Nova Práxis Editorial, 2022. Please use the author/date/page template in the body of the text, when there are quotations of excerpts of works, the information should be in parentheses. Example: (AMARO, 2022, p. 45) in the body of the text.

Words in a foreign language must be italicized.

Direct quotations (textual transcription of part of the work of the author consulted) in the body of the text must follow NBR 1052 (ABNT/2002): (a) Direct quotations of up to three lines must be contained in double quotation marks, in the body of the paragraph to which they refer. Example: Santos (2020, p. 22) describes: "The number of victims multiplies exponentially [...]". OR: "The framework of tensions and injustices stemming from this great social crisis has multiple conditioning and resonance, both in social relations, as well as in family and corporate relations" (PONCE DE LEÓN; AMARO; FERREIRA, 2020, p. 5); (b) Direct quotations of more than three lines should be highlighted from the text, with a 4 cm retreat from the left margin, with a smaller letter (body 10) than the one used in the running text, simple spacing between the lines and without quotation marks.
