To this end, various authors are used to support the ideas: Isabel Baptista (1998a, b, c, 2005a, b, c, d) and Rui Trindade (2012) contribute to clarifying the terms moral and ethical; Pierre Bourdieu (2001, 2004), Boaventura de Sousa Santos (1989), Bernard Charlot (2006), João Caramelo (2009) and other authors make it possible to explain an understanding of the concepts of scientific research and socio-community intervention; Tiago Neves and Carla Malafaia (2016) contribute to thinking about the ethical issues of research; Maria Freitas (2015) contributes to reflecting on the ethical issues of intervention; and finally, the previous contributions, in addition to fuelling the discussions in the various sections of the text, allow to close with some fundamental questions and considerations regarding ethical endeavours in education.
