Abstract

Bearing in mind the moral judgment of the victim of crimes against sexual dignity by Brazilian society in the face of the influences of sexist and misogynistic behaviors practiced, research is carried out on the existence of a rape culture, in order to analyze and understand its impact on offended women. To this end, it is necessary to conceptualize, classify and analyze the processes of victimization and victimological syndromes suffered by the victim; analyze the occurrence of black figures in sexual crimes and analyze existing legislation that aims to combat gender-based violence. A bibliographical and exploratory research is then carried out through indirect documentation. In view of this, it appears that processes of secondary and tertiary victimization occur in victims of sexual crimes, in addition to acquiring victimological syndromes due to the physical and psychological trauma suffered by the acts, which are discouraged from reporting their aggressor, resulting in the occurrence of figures black women from these crimes and there is weakness in existing legislation that aims to combat violence against women, which requires the observation that the culture of rape created by thoughts and attitudes that belittle and objectify women has several negative impacts on those offended by through their victimization of the crime and the lack of adoption of effective public policies to combat gender-based violence.
