The answers to complex problems permeate public policies developed under the bias of collaborative strategies. Domestic violence is a complex problem given its characteristic of remaining intertwined with a series of other issues and, therefore, having a high degree of instability due to numerous contingencies. The Brazilian Women’s House, as a care center, welcoming and qualified to listen to victims of domestic violence, is marked by interoperability, and intersectionality, thus interconnecting different services and between the protective network, thus feeding the communication flow. Presenting the Brazilian Women’s House as a public policy for intersectoral care that constituted one of the possible answers to the complex problem of domestic violence is the purpose of this article. The hypothesis is that the Brazilian Women’s House can be considered an intersectoral public policy to face domestic violence, guided by the principle of dignity due to the reception and qualified listening. Bibliographic research was carried out, and the method used is dialogic. The result demonstrates that the Brazilian Women’s House is a public policy structured holistically to give a concrete answer to the complex problem of domestic violence.
