This issue of Revista ProVítima is situated at the convergence of two contemporary milestones in victim rights advocacy: the 70th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 70), held in New York, and the progress of the Victim Statute in the Brazilian Federal Senate, which consolidates fundamental rights such as accessible information, humane reception, prevention of re-victimization, and comprehensive reparation. This alignment between the global agenda and national legislative developments demonstrates that victim protection has moved from the margins to the center of worldwide discussions on justice, democracy, and human rights. The articles gathered in this volume form an interdisciplinary mosaic addressing, among other topics, habeas corpus on behalf of sexual crime victims, the reception of women experiencing violence, artificial intelligence applied to femicide prevention, stalking, state liability for police misconduct, and a legal-musical reading of Sabor de Mel, reaffirming the journal's commitment to victim-centered justice — one that receives without re-victimizing, protects without over-bureaucratizing, and repairs without silencing.
