Abstract

O artigo aborda o tema abuso sexual contra crianças e adolescentes, que tem como objetivo identificar o abuso sexual e descrever as consequências na vida da criança e do adolescente vítimas desse abuso. A metodologia da pesquisa adotada neste trabalho foi a da revisão narrativa da literatura, realizada através do uso de material acessível ao público geral, como livros e material disponível em rede eletrônica, sendo apresentada de forma agregada. Como resultado do estudo foi possível constatar que o abuso sexual causa consequências, que podem repercutir a curto e a longo prazos, comprometendo a saúde física e a saúde mental de crianças e de adolescentes, refletindo também na vida adulta destas pessoas.
