Charter of prerogatives for victims (2025)

Abstract

This Charter brings together prerogatives structured in guideline format, elaborated by the International Forum on Victims’ Rights, within the Working Group established by the Nexo Governamental, an extension project linked to the University of São Paulo – USP. Said prerogatives were unanimously approved at the Deliberative Session of the Executive Commission, held on November 27, 2025, at the Brazilian Bar Association – Federal District Chapter, and will be adopted by national and international bodies through the conclusion of technical cooperation agreements and/or other equivalent instruments, ensuring their adequate implementation and enforcement, in compliance with the competences and institutional capacities of each participating entity.
