The various restorative models and the applicability of restorative justice to cases of domestic and intrafamily violence

Abstract

This study will present the practical applications of Restorative Justice, as well as analyze whether this legal institution would prove viable and effective in relation to crimes involving gender-based, domestic, and intrafamily violence against women, and its possible contribution to the effectiveness of the normative and legislative system for guaranteeing women's rights and protecting them.

outora em Direito Público pela PUC Minas (conceito Capes 6). Mestra em Direito Público pela PUC Minas (conceito Capes 6). Possui Especialização em Direito Público pelo IEC/PUC Minas. É graduada em Direito pela PUC Minas. Atualmente é Professora Adjunta da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, em regime de dedicação exclusiva. Foi Professora da Graduação em Direito da Faculdade Pitágoras de Belo Horizonte e da Pós-graduação em Direito na Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora e na Faculdade de Ciências Biológicas e da Saúde - FACISA/UNIVIÇOSA. Advogada tendo atuado nas áreas de Direito da Seguridade Social e Previdenciário.
