Abstract

A justiça restaurativa representa uma evolução na gestão das penas e modo de reduzir ou minimizar os danos das violações. Porém não serve para todos os crimes e precisa ser conhecida desde sua base conceitual até sua aplicabilidade. O presente artigo, escrito a partir da experiência do autor em um tribunal de justiça brasileiro, apresenta subsídios para compreender e agir na via restaurativa, tendo por foco a questão da violência doméstica contra a mulher.
