Abstract

In the present work, we rely on the experience of serving victims of crimes against life that the Reference Center has carried out since 1998. We seek to develop our own methodology for the reception and comprehensive and interdisciplinary care of these victims who are going through a difficult and imposed mourning. From this, we understand that access to justice is beyond criminal processes, since the vulnerabilities of those who suffer violence are also social, physical, educational, economic and emotional.

Fernando José da Costa

Graduado em Direito pelo Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (1997). Mestre e Doutor Direito Penal pela Universidade de São Paulo. Doutor em Direito Penal pela Università degli Studi di Sassari/Itália. Advogado e sóciofundador da Fernando José da Costa - Advogados. Secretário de Justiça e Cidadania do Estado de São Paulo entre 2019 e 2022. Foi homenageado com a Medalha Anchieta e o Diploma de Gratidão, concedidos pela Câmara Municipal de São Paulo. É autor de mais de dez obras jurídicas.
