Duties of the Advocates

Duties of the Referees:

  • Collaboration: Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and can also assist authors in improving articles submitted to the journal.

  • Commitment: Any reviewer who does not feel qualified to evaluate the article assigned to him or knows that his immediate evaluation will not be possible should notify the editorial team as soon as possible. The rapid communication between referees and the editorial team facilitates the continuity of the necessary editorial flow.

  • Standards of objectivity: Opinions should be conducted objectively. The reviewers shall express their views in a clear and reasoned manner.

  • Confidentiality: All items received for evaluation shall be treated as confidential documents. Your content should not be shared or discussed with others. Inside information or ideas obtained by reading the articles must be kept secret and must not be used for personal gain.

  • Conflict of interest: Reviewers should refrain from evaluating manuscripts that they know to have a conflict of interest, for competitive, collaborative or other ways of connecting with any of the authors or institutions that are related to the articles.

  • Cooperation: The reviewers should alert the editorial team about similarities between the evaluated article and any other published work of which they are aware.
